By donating non-wool yarn or anti-pill fleece.
By donating gift cards to stores that carry blanket making items.
By praying for the volunteers.
And of course by making monetary donations.

We also use fleece fabric.  Fleece fabric is one of the most versatile and dynamic materials available for making blankets. Not only is fleece warm, but is porous structure makes it incredibly breathable.

To purchase yarn, anti-pill fleece, thread, anti-suffocation warning bags, and various other supplies used for packing and labeling of the blankets.

The minimum size should be 36”
General guidelines are:
Preemies and infants – 36” x 36”
Kids (2-6 yrs old) – 40” x 60”
Youth (7-12 yrs old) – 50” x 70”
Teens ( 13 +) – 60” x 80”

The fabric should be new anti-pill fleece in child-friendly colors
Yarn must be new, washable, and child-friendly colors. Acrylic (NO WOOL)

DO YOU TAKE GIFT CARDS FOR DONATIONS?

Babies and preemies in the NICU of hospitals we partner with, Infants and Children in crisis situations (via foster care agencies) that have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, and parent/parents being arrested.

We take special care in ensuring that the quality of each blanket meets our standard of excellence.  The blankets are washable and the non-wool yarn is used in most of our blankets. The blankets are soft on the skin and anti-pill fleece which holds up during many washes and allows breathability.
